I have done my graduation from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK), which ranks among the premier institutions of India. Although I am a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering, I went on to take up a computer software job with Daewoo Software. I was faced with the challenge of competing with other software professionals who already had a degree with computer major. My curiosity to learn and my ability to grasp helped me achieve my targets. Very soon I traveled to Japan for an onsite assignment. The Japan assignment proved to be a very valuable experience in my career both in terms of the international exposure I got out of it and the kind of challenges I faced while working on the project.
