The stark statistics in Australia support the argument that Indigenous Australians have a shorter life span than those Non Indigenous, with Indigenous males expected to live to the age of 57 compared to Non Indigenous males who are expected to live to the age of 75, while Indigenous females are expected to live to the age of 62, compared to Non Indigenous females life expectancy of 81.
In Western New South Wales, the National Community, Dubbo, is home to the tribes Gamilaroi, Gunybari and Wiradjuri, making Dubbo the town with the largest population of Indigenous Australians in NSW. To compensate for the communities health and sense of wellbeing, programs and initiatives are essential in maintaining an overall balance, spiritually, culturally and physically. ...
