Wireless! Who would have ever thought that things would become wireless? Wireless isn’t necessarily a new technology but it is much more common today than a couple of years ago. There are four excellent reasons that I can think of that selecting wireless networking is a spectacular choice. First and foremost wireless networks offer flexibility in temporary or expanding businesses. Second they are without difficulty set-up so that the business can be online and running much faster. Third they allow for mobility or support for outside sales employees or someone as important as a warehouse worker that is doing an inventory. And last but not least very cost effective. I am sure there are many more reasons but these seem to be the most important reasons. I would like to start off the flexibility section stating that every business does not have a great assortment of an offices or locations to choose from. Sometimes they are forced to use older historical buildings. Often it is not possible to install conventional cabling in these types of facilities do to there architecture. Consequently wireless networking is the only alternative available in these locations. Wired networks sometimes require the installation of many wires resulting in permanent portals to the system. A wireless network allows the sharing of resources from central locations without the need for duplicate equipment and software at remote locations.
