The question that arises is if the United States knew about Saddam’s brutal dictatorship before the Gulf War, how come we did not liberate the Iraqis then? ... Are there motives for this war that the President has not told us about? ... So far in this war, we have found little that supports that case. The suggestion that Iraq would hand over these alleged weapons to Al-Qaeda is absurd. ... After Iraq, the next on President Bush’s agenda could be North Korea or Syria. ...
At this state in our nation’s economy, we cannot afford to go to war.
