Illegal File Swapping
On Monday, the Recording Industry Association of America started a legal campaign against ordinary Internet users by suing 261 alleged file swappers. File-swapping applications also known as peer-to-peer software include Kazaa and Imesh, in which approximately 60 million people use to listen to music. These file-swapping applications leave computers open to the Net, which leaves people at risk of being sued. ... The RIAA also analyzes the file’s contents. ...
