The Aeneid – Character Analysis
In reading The Aeneid, the reader will discover a number of specific character traits that are interesting in trying to discover who Aeneas was. ... ” Throughout the story, Aeneas gets the girl, falls deeply in love with the “princess-type” character, goes against all odds of nature when he sets sail during storms and hazardous conditions, and in the end reigns victorious over the “bad guy,” Turnus. Though all of these are more than admirable, the most undeniable characteristic of a worthy hero in an epic tale like that of The Aeneid would be sympathy.
