Throughout the story “Young Goodman Brown” by Nathaniel Hawthorne, Goodman Brown was faced with situations that put his faith and beliefs on the line. What he went through was traumatic and even though he did not loose his faith, there was still times where he may have questioned it. ... Still, with all that Brown had gone through, he never lost his faith. This experience showed him how much faith meant to him and what significance it had in his life. ... Brown could not believe that his family would have anything to do with such a thing.
