The Quiet Man Film Review.
The Quiet Man is set in Innisfree in Ireland in the 1920’s. ... Will offers Sean a fight, but Sean does not want to due to an accident he was involved in during a boxing match in which he accidentally killed a man. ... John Wayne also plays a good part, and as usual plays a quiet and mysterious character, however he plays his part well and believably.
The Quiet Man is a typically perfect Hollywood image of Ireland, with many of the smaller charters being very Impish in appearance, all good drinkers, but all very decent people with people’s best interests at heart, and all being very community spirited.
The Quiet Man is the type of film one would watch without very much serious intent, or without trying to get a moral from, as it is typically Hollywood-esque, with everything being very picture perfect and idyllic, however overall it is a sweet, entertaining little film with some legendry comedy moments
