Recent technological advances have improved the convenience and quality of music sharing immensely. Internet speeds and bandwidths have increased exponentially, many sharing networks are available for no cost, and the quality is such that over 90% of people rate it as very good or almost the same as CD quality. ... But is this increase good or bad for the music industry itself?
The answer of this question depends on what is meant by the term “music industry”. It can be seen from an artistic point of view with music as a medium of expression and the industry a way to get heard by and entertain the masses. ...
