In this essay I am going to identify and explain two principles that determine the conduct of British foreign policy between 1846 and 1865.
The two principles from all the British policy that I have chosen to write about is the naval power and to protect low countries (keep them independent).
Naval power
Naval power is an essential part for the British foreign policy because it is the main source of defence for Britain. ...
