Games at Twillight

One of the themes is fear, which goes along with courage. The first time his fears surface is just before he enters the shed, when Raghu is closing in on him he begins to panic, he then realizes he could slip into the shed, but he fears it also, because it is unknown to him. This is also the first he shows courage, by going into the shed that he’s afraid of. Symbolism is used here, as their game of hide-and-seek can be compared to a hunt, and his panic and flight into the shed is like that of a hunted animal escaping into the forest.
