Watership Down Fiver character analysis

Watership Down

The novel Watership Down, by Richard Adams, is a story that uses rabbits as the main characters. ... One of the main characters in the novel is a timid, undersized rabbit named Fiver. Throughout the book, Adams uses Fiver’s attributes to further the story and help the band of rabbits start a new warren. Fiver’s attributes include a “sixth” sense, a growing confidence, and eventually leadership qualities.
In the very first chapter the reader understands that Fiver has intuitive visions or feelings about future events. ... Fiver’s brother, Hazel, believes him because Fiver has never been wrong in his predictions and the two rabbits gather as many rabbits together as they can to leave the unsafe warren.
