“Under Two Flags” by Drama This play can easily be summarized into three words: comical, creative, and overall outstanding. I have never seen a melodrama before where the cast gets the audience involved. To me, that strengthens the attention of the audience and really engulfs their minds to the whole action of the play. It’s just more interesting that way. One of the many aspects of the play that made it outstanding was that between scenes and at the beginning of the play they had an Olio. There were actually four of them and they did a great job at entertaining the audience and getting them involved. They also kept smiles on everyone’s faces. Their sense of humor was usually quite dry, but it kept everyone laughing. Other comical points in the play include the way that the characters acted, moved, and how their facial expressions were.
