Holidays With and Without my Parents
There are many differences between spending the holidays on my own and with my parents. One thing I used to hate when I was younger was my father's obsession with sightseeing. He just couldn't visit a resort without seeing every archaeological site, museum or anything worth seeing, according to him of course. I vividly remember my mother asking him to slow down, so us the kids could enjoy the beaches, the theme parks and everything a child would enjoy doing. Moreover, my father made us go to sleep before 22.00 pm in order for us to be fresh for the next day's tour. We were walking all day like typical tourists, with cameras and bottles of water only to be laughed at by some local folk.
Another thing I hated, was all the planning my father was doing. He had a plan for our vacation in Hawaii 2 months before we even got there. He had outlined every single detail up to which restaurant we will eat at and on which day, or the routes we would travel on
