With racial integration always nagging at American society, you would never think to yourself that I white rapper would ever make it. ... There have been a few white males that have attempted this feat. Some of the names that some to mind are Cypress Hill, Vanilla Ice, Bubba Sparx, and a white rap band, The Beastie Boys. ... Therefore maybe back then the African American industry saw these rapper’s as a threat to “their predominantly black industry. ... As integration becomes a more vital issue in our society it becomes easier for whites to do “black things” and blacks to do “white things. ... In knowing that, don’t you ever wonder to yourself why the African Americas would want to let a white person in, in this day and age? Same with the white man, why would he want to associate himself with an “all black” industry. After all if this was about thirty to forty years ago the white man would have been severely looked down upon and probably at some point, murdered by either blacks or whites. ... c’mon now, you know this white boy will bite you.” In this particular part he is referring to another black rapper. ... Eminem says he constantly catches racial slurs from both sides or people constantly questioning him and he gets very offended when people say “so being a white rapper. ... and growing up white. ... after being born white. ... Which it does make him popular, but it is not a good act of popularity it shows more of a negative outlook on our culture. ...
