The story of Cinderella is told worldwide and because of this, there are many versions and variations. The classic tale depicts Cinderella suffering at the hands of an unkind stepmother. The stepmother could not bear Cinderella's pleasing personality because it made her own daughters appear so displeasing. The stepmother gave Cinderella the most difficult jobs in the house such as washing dishes and cleaning the stepmother and sisters' rooms. The king decides to host a ball to which he invites all people of good nature. Cinderella's stepsisters receive an invitation. The stepsisters are very excited and become engrossed in deciding what to wear. As the preparations begin, Cinderella faces more tasks such as helping with the clothes and styling the stepsisters' hair. Cinderella is unaware that there is a kindly godmother who sees how Cinderella is being unfairly treated. Cinderella's godmother feels sorry for her, and Cinderella's godmother volunteers to help...
