Ban on Partial Birth Abortion

I am writing to express my thoughts on President Bush's action in signing the ban on
partial birth abortion.
His action is nothing short of heroic and honorable. Protecting the right of an unborn
child is the duty of every American.
Partial Birth abortions are perpetrated on viable babies and babies almost ready to be
born. The practice is painful and barbaric. We wouldnt treat a live person this way. A
mother treating her newborn baby this way, goes to prison.
Our country needs this heroic action. If children are to be aborted, which is not my
belief,obviously, it most certainly should not be done in the late stages when the child
has all it's sensory capacities.
I believe that the strongest & surest way to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, is to
abstain...
