Danny the Champion of the World

The book that I chose for my book report was "Danny the Champion of the
World". This remarkable story was written by the very famous author Roald Dahl. This
book takes the genre of adventure. It is also illustrated by Quentin Blake one of my
favourite illustrators. I felt that his illustrations made the book come alive.
This story takes place in Northern England, just shortly after the Industrial
Revolution. Danny and his father, a master car mechanic live in a gypsy caravan. Danny,
a nine-year old boy is the youngest car mechanic in the world. He can take a small engine
apart and put it back together is less than thirty minutes. William, Danny's father owns a
