Throughout the ages, people have experienced the wonders of chess. The earliest version of chess, shaturanga, was created during the sixth century in India. Chess, a time honored tradition, is played across the globe. Chess is like a plant that has blossomed, thrived, and stretched its roots deep into the culture of this planet. People that do not speak the same language can be brought together and play a game of chess without speaking a word. The enjoyment of chess can be attained by all who seek its complexity.
I began playing as a fifth grader, who was unknowledgeable of the ways of chess. The first time you play it is called a "learning experience" or at least it was for me.
