Describe your current plan for professional growth. How do you think an online educational program will help your realize this plan.
My current plan for professional growth has two stages, a short term plan that's 1-3 years in length and a long term plan which is 4-8 years in length. Both of the stages contain three basic components, which are education, career positioning, and experience. I will concentrate my efforts within the healthcare industry. I choose healthcare because it's a field with which I am already familiar and has an immense anticipated employment growth over the next several years.
In the short term plan my goal is to be the Director of Clinical Operations at one of the local health care facilities. In order to attain my desired position I must complete my undergraduate education, receiving a degree in either business management, business administration, or health care management. I plan to continue in my managerial/supervisory roles while I complete my undergraduate education. I have already attained an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology degree from the University of Akron...
