I smoked speed once. It wasn't much; I didn't even feel a high from it. It wasn't a real fantastic experience, but I won't go looking for another high from it. I won't ever do it again.
I started to think about what I had done. It didn't bother me so much that I had done it that one time, but I looked around myself, and saw all the people that had gone back for a second high, a third, a fourth, and so on. "You can do the drugs, just don't let the drugs do you." All these people had started out just "doing the drug", but some of them ended up with the drug "doing them".
