Coming to the Lemon Parade?
Have you ever bought an entire CD just for one song? That's exactly what many people did with Tonic's debut album, Lemon Parade, in 1996. After seeing their hit song, "If You Could Only See," performed by several local bands in several different towns, people rushed to the stores to find this highly anticipated album. After listening to that one song over and over, one could find them self forgetting to push the back button again and hearing the following song, which lead to their listening to the next. As soon as one knows it, they have listened to the CD in its entirety, causing them to fall in love with Lemon Parade.
Though Tonic is classified as a rock group, they incorporate different styles into their tracks. This collection of songs contains cuts with basic pop, a touch of country, minor heavy rock, while using classic and modern rock as an overall theme.
