The Israeli Olympic team of 1972
It was 4:30 in the morning on Sept. 5, 1972, when five Arab terrorists wearing track sweat suits climbed the six-foot six-inch fence surrounding the Olympic Village. the terrorists' weapons were hidden in athletic bags. And after they got in they met three more Arabs who had gained entrance with credentials.
It was 5 Am when the terrorists knocked on the door of Israeli wrestling coach Moshe Weinberg. When Moshe saw the terrorists he knew something was wrong and shouted loud enough to worn his roommates He and weightlifter Joseph Romano tried to block the door while other Israelis escaped, but they were all killed by those terrorists. Then the terrorists captured nine Israelis and held them as hostages.
At 9:30AM, the terrorists announced that they were Palestinian Arabs, and demanded that Israel release 234 Arab prisoners out of the Israeli prison. And also demanded form Germany to release two German terrorist leaders imprisoned in Frankfurt. And they also demanded to get out of Germany safely...
