WAR In Bosnia
There are a lot of events that I remember, but this event affected me and everything else around me the most. When I was nine years old our first neighbors were trying to get rid of us (us being Bosnian Muslims). They killed a lot of people, also placed all men into prisons, and the rest forced out of their homes. (they being Croatian Catholics). We had to walk thru villages and mountains to get on the safe side which Bosnian Muslims controlled.
We lived in a small city in Bosnia. When war started we were not prepared for it. We lived in a diverse city; there was equal amount of Muslims and Catholics. When Croatian army came into our city we were not ready to fight we had nothing to fight with, and we did not get any help from our catholic neighbors actually they turned against us and most of crime that happened in our city was done by people that we knew and grew up with.
After they occupied the whole city, and had control of most of our people they put all guys into prisons, women and kids placed into one part of the city...
