Abstract
Conflict has been around since the beginning of time. In addition, we know that conflict can be both challenging and rewarding. There are many types and sources of conflict. The key to successful conflict resolution in work teams is planning. Through careful consideration and negotiation, conflict can be managed into a mutually beneficial outcome for both the individual and the team. Taking the time to plan for conflict and avoiding the potential pitfalls can prove to be to the recipe for success.
