Happiness, that is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Star Wars. I'm sure to many people it doesn't seem like too utterly significant to their livesbut to me it's completely different. If you've ever been at a point in your lie where you feel like things wont ever get better, then all of a sudden something so random and unpredictable pulled you of it, you'll know what I mean when you read this.
I can remember last year, I signed up for a mythology class here at school. I had always loved the subject and genuinely looked forward to broadening my knowledge for the subject. We covered Greek mythology a majority of the semester, but as it was drawing to a close, time came for modern myths.
'Star Wars,' I thoughtI was optimistic about it. I had no idea that something so insignificant would impact me and actually proceed to change my life.
We began watching the movies, and I slowly but surely became more and more drawn in. Before I even realized it, I was happy more often, I had ways to occupy my time, keep my self busy, and stay away from locking myself in my room with nothing to do but feel sorry for myself...
