To be a good manager you have to be a good leader. Leading is the most important function in the management process. Leading is the most important quality for a manager. It is vital that the manager knows all of the functions of his/her department. A manager needs to be able to motivate his/her employees to help accomplish the company's goals as well as the employees own personal career objectives. To be a good leader the manager must have good people skills, group dynamics, communication, and the ability to show outstanding leadership and discipline skills are all integral parts of being a good leader. The owners of the Deli Delivery Company believe that by using the transformational leadership theories, and participative style of leadership we can create a healthy productive, positive, and profitable organizational culture.
