Abstract
The purpose of this experiment is to demonstrate two jobs of equal pay can have different hedonic tracks. ...
Introduction
Some jobs may have more positives or more negatives on their hedonic track. ... This experiment is designed to demonstrate different hedonic tracks of two different, yet equal paying jobs. With this information, employers and employees can compensate for employees with a high negative hedonic track. ... The experimenter would observe and record each employee’s actions for an hour or until ten things occurred to the employee to change her hedonic track. The experimenter would record what the change was, why did the hedonic track change, and if the change was low, medium, or high. After both observations were completed, the experimenter tallied up the scores and created a hedonic track for each employee.
