Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929-1968) and Malcolm "X" Little (1925-1965) were two great historical leaders that fought for African American rights throughout the world. When reviewed together, their lives reveal series instructive contrasts involving family, class, education, leadership, public image and social impact. There were coincidences associated with their deaths, by them both being assassinated and dying from the bullets shot. King as well as X died at the age of 39. They both stood up and help fight back for Blacks to live freely in this country. They just had different viewpoints on helping African Americans.
