Definition: Euthanasia is the administration of a lethal agent by another person to a patient for the purpose of relieving the patient's intolerable and incurable suffering. (American Medical Association, 2003).
Introduction: Euthanasia has infested much judicial, media, and scholarly attention in recent years. Euthanasia or physician-assisted suicide has become a very controversial subject due to religious and ethical reasons. Euthanasia is simply allowing a suffering person to decide when he/she will leave this earth.
Thesis: Euthanasia is homicide and should be illegal. No one should have the right to decide their own fate.
