In this biography of Harriet Beecher Stowe, there will be demonstration of her realistic literary masterpieces as well as her fervor in her evangelical life. While being born in Hartford, Connecticut, to a family of 13 kids in 1811, Harriet Beecher Stowe's father was Lyman Beecher, who was married three times and was a minister of an eccentric conservative sect of Calvinism and a pastor of the Congregational Church in Litchfield. In 1832, Harriet Beecher moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, as a result of her father being accepted to the superior position over the newly established Lane Theological Seminary. Her family was intrigued by the mysteries of the soul and human self-actualization. She knew everything about the sermon and many aspects of religion. Harriet Beecher married a professor of Biblical Literature at Lane-Calvin Stowe, who was a widower. She had seven children-one dieing at infancy-and was constantly cumbered by financial struggles.
