Eliza Edwards house was established in 1992, as a sister house to Mary Pulling. The house is named after Miss Eliza Edwards, the first New-Zealand born Headmistress of Dio. The banner was designed bye the first house leader Leanne McConchie. The symbols represent the things that Miss Edwards felt most strongly about. They are the Church, which played a big part in the founding of the School, the book signifying her belief in education for women, the flower because of her love of flowers and the three stars representing that the School is part in the Diocese. This year we have all competed in swimming sports, athletics, cross-country and house music, where unfortunately we have yet to win something, we have all had a lot of fun and have shown great team spirit and pride.
