Abstract
Currently, I am interested in a career in network engineering. In this paper, I will present a summary of my education and work experience, the job description and current duties of the position, and the education that is necessary to pursue a career in network engineering. Network engineers are involved with almost every part of a companies computer system. I will demonstrate the significance of a network engineer's role.
My Career Interest
I am interested in becoming a network engineer. Ever since I saw my first computer network in the early 1990's, I became interested in building my own. This included designing and handling all of the interconnectivity of the system. Networking allows the computer users to utilize multiple servers simultaneously without leaving their workstations. When I discovered that the University of Phoenix offered a Bachelor of Science degree course in Computer Science, I felt that it would help me reach my goal. If I want to become an engineer, I know I will need my Bachelors degree...
