Testimony I grew up in a very Christian household. We went to church every Sunday, I went to youth group every Wednesday, and when I was younger we had daily devotions at our house. When I decided to get baptized I was at the age of ten and I was at Pine Haven Camp. I didn’t get baptized up there but that’s when I told someone that I wanted to accept Christ. When I got home from camp, I called Kevin Kastler over to my house who was a very good friend of ours as well as the pastor of West Concord Church, and I told him that I wanted to be baptized. So I got baptized at West Concord Church of Christ, and things were going just fine, I was leading a good Christian life and then seventh grade hit. I started to realize that a lot of my friends weren’t Christians and I noticed that they were having a lot more fun than I was because I would always have to watch what I did in order to lead a Christian life. From that day on, I went a totally different direction than the way I was going before. I swore all the time. I started hanging out with kids that did drugs and alcohol. It was just starting to get bad. During high school I got even worse. Instead of just hanging out with the kids that were doing bad things, I suddenly got caught up in drinking and partying a lot. I always had in the back of my head that it was wrong but I didn’t care because I was having fun.
