Ever heard sayings such as "Money is the root of all evil", or "Money can't buy happiness"? Although there's some partial truth in them, the facts need to be faced; money is an asset that influences the majority of decisions people make in there everyday lives. There are infinite numbers of ways to make money; some make more while others make less. Either way, a regular economy revolves around making money. Now ask yourself this; where does money come from? Who is in charge of the production of money and what determines how much of it is produced? These are just a few questions that can be pointed to the same direction of one entity: the Federal Reserve. This paper will talk about the history of the Federal Reserve and how it got evolved. It will also describe the formalities of its structure, the way people get appointed and foremost, the significance it has in regards to the economy.
