Johann Friedrich Carl Gauss was a German mathematician, physicist and astronomer. He was born on April 30, 1777, in Brunswick, which is now Germany. His health had deteriorated slowly and he died in his sleep on February 23, 1855, in Gottingen, Hanover. Gauss lived to the age of 77. Gauss married Johanna Ostoff on October 9, 1805, whom later died while giving birth to their second son. Gauss married his second wife, Minna Waldeck they had three children together. In 1831, Minna died after along an illness.
Gauss had shown his genius early he made several important discoveries before he was twenty. Gauss was considered as one of the greatest mathematicians of his time and is equal to other great mathematicians such as Archimedes and Newton. Gauss was able to calculate before he could talk...
