I'm not going to lie to you or sugar-coat the situation. Bond films (including Die Another Day) are not what most call 'riveting' or 'a brilliant masterpiece.' The truth is, you either like Bond films, or you don't. They are action-packed, world domination, spy/espionage, gadget-filled sexual movies. If you do not like Bond films or this type of film you might as well stop reading now, because you will not enjoy Die Another Day. I personally am a very large fan of Bond films. Bond films all typically follow similar patterns, from most important to least important: Villain, Plot, Girls, Henchman, Cars, Gadgets, etc. This is how I rate Bond Films, and from this I have concluded that Die Another Day is one of the best.
First of all, the villain, Gustav Graves, played by Toby Stephens, (Space Cowboys) is a very physical character as well as mental. That's a big problem with some Bond villains...
