A Walk To Remember

Nicholas Spark's novel, A Walk To Remeber, is centrally focused on the idea of young everlasting love. Surrounding, equally important, but not as apparent, themes also include friendship and the levels of maturity that accompany growth. The author develops these themes through relationships created by the characters which result in outcomes unexpected by the reader. The main conflict concerns Jaime and her surroundings; More specifically between Jaime and life, Jaime and Landon, and both of them against thoe who doubt their love. In the novel a quote from the Bible on pg. 215 from the Corinthians states " Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful...It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes...
