Shaggy perms, blue rinses and badly cut bobs are surely something of the past? When I go into a hairdressers in the 21st century I expect to come out feeling satisfied. Feeling a warm inner glow and proud to walk down the street with my head held high. Hairdressers are one of a kind. They are innovators, but sometimes they should not be allowed anywhere near a sheep with scissors let alone a head full of hair glorious hair. We strive to be perfect. We want to get rid of that ghastly cellulite, make our boobs that big bigger and go on the Atkins to shed those unwanted pounds. We all do it and we all know the results are not instant. Perfection takes time. But hair holds a different story, it is one of the very few things that can provide us with instantaneous delight or in some cases dread.
