Movies are a form of entertainment many Americans go to the movies every weekend to enjoy the company of others, while being entertained. Out of all the types of movies like drama, comedy, and action Scary movies are the types of movies many people watch. Scary movies give a sense of fear and uncertainty to whoever watches them. Three common types of scary movies are vampire movies, teenage movies, and thriller movies. Since I can remember, I have always thought about vampires when I thought about scary movies. These night walking creatures, creeping in our windows at night on the prowl for blood, to renew their strength. Vampire movies have been an example of fear ever since 1931s Dracula premiered. It was the first example of a scary movie because it leaves the audience not wanting to go to sleep at night, covering their necks and bearing crosses for protection.
