East of Buffalo where the loudness is not audible and the lights dim, Iroquois
Wildlife Refuge is found. The maintenance and restoration of natural biological diversity
is top priority for a location as such. The conservation and management of fish and
wildlife and their habitats within the boundaries of the refuge is very important. I found it
very interesting to read about international and wildlife treaties that all refuges must
adhere and oblige to. Opportunities for scientific research and environmental education,
both of which were fulfilled by us, the students and scientists. These refuges protect their
enclosed ecosystems from continuing human development...
