Women Vs. The Fetus
Is it up to the government to decide whether a fetus shall be born? Shouldn't a woman carrying a fetus, have the choice to her own reproductive rights? After all, a fetus cannot live without the woman. How is it possible for a women to give birth to a child, but then have it taken away because there was no obvious "bonding"? These are questions I often found myself asking when reading the article " How Women Pay for Fetal Rights" by Rachel Roth.
Fetal rights is a political term related to legal abortions. These rights are allowing the fetus to have say over the mother carrying it. It is unequal and unfair that institutions, the government and legislatures are taking power over these women's bodies. Calling for Fetal Rights, when a fetus cannot live without the women...
