The Eminem Show is the third mainstream release (he had many previous mixtape and underground records) from rapper Eminem. This album was a change from what fans had come to know and love from the man also known as Marshall Mathers. His fan base was created upon lyrics disrespecting homosexuals, his mother, and everything else that one could conjure up. This album let Eminem show his true artistic side. With the exception of a few disrespectful, drug-laden tracks, this CD showed that Eminem actually has feelings. A personal favorite was track four, aptly titled Cleaning out my Closet. This song targeted a familiar face, his mother. Although Eminem had been known to bash his mother in the past, here he let his true feelings and reasons for all the name calling out. Another song that caught my ear was Say what you say. Not to be outdone, Eminem takes the time to call out the people that have tried to denounce him in the past year...
