Erin Brockovich Questions & Answers Q.1) In her teenage years, what were Erin’s hopes and dreams for her future? A.1) When Erin Brockovich was a teenager her hopes and dreams were to be successful and to get a high-paying job to support her and any kinds she may have. Specifically speaking, she wanted to go to medical school but she didn’t have the money to pay her way through the schooling fees. Erin truly wanted to have a good life, not having to worry about strong financial needs. Q.2) How did she adapt to the change in her life? A.2) Erin adapted to the change in her life by trying to obtain the highest paying job that she could get with the limited amount of experience and expertise that she had. She definitely knew that she had 3 children to support and she needed to get over her 2 divorces. Erin tried to get through these hardships as best and as soon as possible, so that she may move on with her life. To help solve her main concerns, she went to a law firm office and tried to earn some fast money to help with her financial requirements. Q.3) What did you like or dislike about Erin? A.3) There are few main qualities that I admire about Erin and also a couple of traits which I believe that she would be better off without. One of her great qualities is that she is a very enthusiastic and hard-working mother and employee of the law firm run by Ed Masory. She had a large sense of perseverance, which allowed her to get by with not a lot of work skills nor education. Even though she was going through a lot suffering and a lack of money in her account, she still stuck to what she believed in and she didn’t allow any one else tell her other wise. I admire this, because in the type of society that is present today that is very problematic. In addition, she was a very strong willed woman and just did everything in her control to thrive and make the best of her existence on this Earth. On the other hand, she had a very bad temper and things affected her and bothered her quite harshly. Even though she did her best to brush it off, she very easily took her sadness and depression out on her children and the man that came in her life near the middle of the movie.
