  Introduction: When most people especially women, hear the word breast cancer they naturally think of death. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women. In fact, 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime according to the American Cancer Society. The goal of screening examinations for early breast cancer detection is to find cancers before they start to cause symptoms. They are three types of beast examinations, Mammogram, Clinical Breast Examination, and Breast Self Examination. Early breast cancer examination can be beneficial because it can save lives.
