‘A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur’s Court’, written by Mark Twain, contains many separate conflicts. One major one is that of the conflict between Hank Morgan and his new life. Hank, after being hit on the head with a crowbar, wakes up to find himself in Camelot in the year 528. This life is very different from his previous one, yet very behind in technology, so he must use that to his advantage. Since he is trained in many different areas, and works with things not invented yet, everyone eventually respects him. “Boss” as they call him, even founded “West Point”, a military and naval school, and was very proud of it. Hank then decided to work with the peoples’ lives and was disgusted how they were treated.
