Wal-mart Wal-Mart a multi billion dollar corporation which was founded in the streets of Rogers, Arkansas stands to be the biggest company in the world today with its claim over the international market, there are many positive aspects as well as negative aspects to the company which in turn lets you debate whether or not Wal-Mart is a respectful and morally successful company.
Wal-Mart was founded in 1962 which was when the first store opened in Rogers, Arkansas. The company was founded by a man named Sam Walton and through his hard work and dedication he would continue to develop and expand his company into the growing success it is today.
Sam Walton a successful retail executive was born on March 29, 1918 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Walton wasn't always a rich successful business executive. In his early years Walton helped his family financially by delivering newspapers and milking cows. Sam was always a bright young individual who always aspired to be more and do more with his life. After high school Walton attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a degree in economics. From graduating Sam Walton obtained a job at J.C Penney where he got his first taste of retail management and business experience which he applied in his later life...
