Is college life stressing you out? If your experience has been anything like mine, your answer is yes! Getting good grades, making friends, and working are only a few of the many things that could be putting a strain on you while you are making the hectic transition from high school into college. One thing I have found that has made life much easier is taking up the art of practicing Yoga. Adding Yoga to your everyday routine will benefit you not only physically, but also mentally. Modern-day Yoga focuses on personal benefits, such as improved physical fitness, mental clarity, a greater self-understanding, stress control, and an overall well-being (among many others). How I got into Yoga is actually an amusing story. I was shopping for workout pants and found the perfect pair. So, I got home and put them on, and they were so comfy that I didn’t want to take them off! It was the next day that I found the tags on my floor and read that they were actually Yoga pants. So that gave me the idea to go to a Yoga class, I went, I absolutely fell in love with it, and I have been practicing Yoga ever since.
