Did you know that Dallas is one of the nation's fattest cities? It ranks number five according to Men's Health Magazine. It could be because people do not understand the importance of exercise. But exercise is not only good to control weight, but great in many other areas as well. Adults involved in regular quality and structured exercise can actually improve their physical and psychological abilities to the point at which their lifestyles are radically altered.
One reason why exercise is so important is that it helps prevent heart disease by improving cholesterol levels, blood flow, and heart function. One of the major risk factors related to heart disease is inactivity. Exercise is important for several reasons.
