Carnegie Mellon was created in 1900 by Andrew Carnegie when he established the Carnegie Technical Schools for providing educational opportunities for the children of Pittsburg steelworkers and coal miners. Carnegie Mellon is a national research university of about 7,500 students and 3,000 faculty, research and administrative staff. The institution was founded in 1900 in Pittsburgh by industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, who wrote the time-honored words, "My heart is in the work," when he donated the funds to create Carnegie Technical Schools. Carnegie's vision was to open a vocational training school for the sons and daughters of working-class Pittsburghers.
Carnegie Mellon university was first destined to de a fabric of steal because as you know Pittsburgh is a city which is characterized for being stealers and they would destine it for the steal in case the university didn't work.
The university has seven different colleges and schools which are the Carnegie Institute of Technology which is destined for the engineering, the College of Fine Arts, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Mellon College of Science, the Graduated School of Industrial Administration, the School of Computer Science and the H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management.
